Please read the general terms and conditions and then scroll down to find any extra details relevant to the class you are interested in booking.


General terms and conditions

You must re-enrol each term if you wish to continue lessons

Payment must be sent with your booking. Places are not guaranteed until payment is received and you have been sent a confirmation as they are subject to availability. Cheques may be cashed in advance unless post dated to the start of the new term. If on the rare occasion that we cannot find you a suitable place we will of course refund the course fee in full.
 

Cancellations for all bookings on any class, course or workshop the cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 14 days before the start date is subject to a full refund minus £10 admininstration fee
More than 7 days before the start date is subject to a full refund minus £25 administration fee
Within 7 days of the start date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee
Cancellation on the start date or thereafter is subject to 100% cancellation fee

Any cancellations due to force majeure, power cuts, adverse weather, disasters - natural or man made, terrorism, war and pandemics will not be refundable as these are out of our control.


Re-Enrolments
Your place is guaranteed if your re-enrolment form is received by the advertised date with full payment. Places are limited and you must re-enrol even if you are a regular swimmer. If you have missed the re-enrolment date and wish to continue swimming with us, please contact the office as soon as possible. If we are unable to find you a place on your preferred day, we will of course do our best to find you a suitable alternative.

Underwater Photoshoot
  1. All babies should be accustomed to submerging and being released. 
  2. Only babies who are currently enrolled with us and are swimming regularily may join a shoot.
  3. Parents, the swim school teacher and the photographer in charge of the shoot, will be mindful that if a baby/infant shows signs of distress or unhappiness, they have an obligation and have a duty to remove the parent infant pair from the water and defer till the next shoot.
  4. Payment to Calm-a-Baby Ltd is for attendance on a shoot only.
  5. All images and copyright of such images remain the property of the photographer. Purchase of images are handled directly with Focusfirst Ltd.
  6. Photo shoots will only involve activities that are all ready taught and practised in class.
  7. Crying babies will not be submerged.

Common sense and compassion being the key words here.


Aqua Yoga
Attendance - prenatal sessions can be attended from 12 weeks gestation. Permission must be sought from your health professional before attending this class. Postnatal sessions can be attended once heavy bleeding has ceased and with permission from your health professional.
